Sponsors Tri-City Hospital Foundation and Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary invite locals and furry friends to walk for a cause this May
Oceanside CA— Tri-City Hospital Foundation, Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary, and presenting sponsor, Tri-City Medical Center invite two and four-legged San Diegans to get active, get moving and give back this spring at the third annual Tails on the Trails charity dog walk.
Join us on Saturday, May 21 at Mance Buchanon Municipal Park in Oceanside for Tails on the Trails, as we raise funds for Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary, Tri-City Hospital Foundation, Tri-City Medical Center’s Pet Therapy Program and, for the first time, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Oceanside Police Department K-9 unit. The event runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm with on-site registration beginning at 8:30am.
Attendees are invited to hit the trail at leisure, hang out to browse vendor and pet education booths, watch K-9 demonstrations from the Oceanside Police Department, enjoy music, food trucks and even adopt a new fluffy family member.
“This event is a great way to get all members of the community, of all ages – and species – involved with giving back,” said Tri-City Hospital Foundation President Glen Newhart. “We have seen such a profound impact on the health and morale of patients Tri-City therapy dogs visit, and the Oceanside Police Department’s K-9 unit is another incredible example of animals working alongside humans to make a difference. We are proud to partner with our co-sponsors for the benefit of these wonderful organizations.”
Members of the community can make a difference by signing up for just $25 per pet. Registration includes event admission, a backpack, t-shirt and scarf for your furry friend. Sponsorship opportunities are available for $100 to $2,500. Sign up and get more details at TriCityHospitalFoundation.org.
