Carlsbad CA— Enjoy remarkable art and the beauty of nature while shopping for plants on this day trip to the Huntington Library on April 24. The Huntington Library in San Marino has an annual spring plant sale when visitors can find thousands of rare and beautiful plants, including many uncommon varieties hard to find at commercial nurseries.
Knowledgeable Huntington staff and volunteers are on hand to answer questions as well as offer advice on practical gardening topics. Also part of the day will be an estate tour and plenty of time to explore the many gardens on your own.
Fee for the excursion is $89, which includes transportation, admission fee and estate tour. Bus departs at 8:30 a.m. from the MiraCosta College Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, and returns at 6:30 p.m.
