Aja Brown who made history as the City of Compton’s youngest elected Mayor at the age of 31. A national trailblazer, Mayor Brown’s “New Vision for Compton” is a revitalization strategy centered on 12 key principles that focus on family values, quality of life, economic development and infrastructual growth.
Nate Howard, motivational speaker, poet, educator and social entrepreneur, founded Movement BE, a nonprofit organization that creates curriculum to help young people discover their voice and their story. The mission of “tell your story before they do” has directly impacted thousands of students throughout southern California.
Starla Lewis, Mistress of Ceremonies, is a transformational speaker and life coach who has developed lectures and facilitated seminars in Cultural Diversity, Life Mastery and Women Empowerment, both nationally and internationally, for 40+ years.
This conference is designed to appeal to a broad range of women including teens, young adults, women of various backgrounds and ethnicity seeking to improve their position in life.
