Carlsbad CA— MetroConnect Prize is the flagship program of the Go Global San Diego Initiative that provides small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) $10,000 grants to help with their next step in going global. SMEs represent the vast majority of businesses in San Diego County and are responsible for much of the innovation and job creation activity that propels the regional economy. The success of these firms is critical to the region’s future, and increasing their global reach is crucial to the region’s economic competitiveness.
