Oceanside CA— Join the Rotary Club of San Luis Rey’s for their Second Annual Kentucky Derby Fundraising Party at Rookies Sports Grill, 2216 S. El Camino Real in Oceanside.
Watch the running of the 142nd Derby, May 7th on the big screen while enjoying appetizers and two beverages (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic) included in the admission price of $35.00. Silent auction and opportunity drawing prizes combined with a “Best Derby-themed hat contest” are on the agenda.
Get some friends together and join us for an afternoon of fun. All of the races on Derby day will be shown on Rookies numerous big screen TV’s
A variety of ticket combinations and sponsorship packages are available with the proceeds of this event used to benefit the many community oriented projects our Rotary Club supports.

The proceeds of this Fundraiser go to the charities that the Rotary Club of SLR supports. This active club has helped : Mira Costa College Scholarships, Oceanside Women’s Resource Center Projects, New Roof for Ivey Ranch for the Disabled, Kitchen Appliances for the Veterans Association of North County facility, Ocean Shores High School Children’s Christmas and “Dress for Success” Support and others too numerous to list.
