Oceanside CA— Santa made a surprise visit to children at the North County Community Services, located in the Balderama Community Center, and delivered gifts for each of the more than 60 youngsters.
The kids decorated ornaments, on one side was a drawing and on the other side, they wrote their name and what they wanted for Christmas this year. MainStreet Oceanside set up a Giving Tree and the kids wishes were fulfilled my members of the community.
“Seeing the look on these kids faces when they see Santa just makes it all worth it,” said Gumaro Escarcega, MainStreet Oceanside Program Manager. “This area has had a tough year. They can use something like this.”
