Oceanside CA— MiraCosta College Physics Instructor, Jonathan Cole will address the current state of the climate change debate, and offer options to explore for the future, in an engaging Oceanside Public Library program, ‘Climate Change: Where Do We Go from Here?’ on Saturday, April 22, at 10:00 a.m., at the Civic Center Library, 330 N. Coast Highway, in downtown Oceanside.
For those who wonder how to move forward and deal with climate change in a time of rising temperatures and political polarization, Cole brings academic expertise to the topic. He has taught physics at MiraCosta since 1984, and began teaching an introductory course on climate change in 2013. Cole was a visiting scholar at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and has done graduate work in Climate Science at Scripps.
