The annual family friendly trick-or-treat experience in the urban Little Italy neighborhood will kick-off at Piazza della Famiglia, starting at 5:30 p.m

San Diego CA— The 12^th annual Trick-or-Treat on India Street, hosted by the Little Italy Association of San Diego, returns to San Diego’s Little Italy on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The little ones will celebrate the Halloween season dressed up in their best costume attire and walk through the streets of Little Italy to enjoy a fun Halloween event. Little Italy businesses will give out tasty Halloween treats and candy to the Downtown neighborhood, making it possible for urban families to enjoy an authentic trick-or treat experience in a safe environment. For the first time, Trick-or-Treat on India Street will kick-off at the Piazza della Famiglia, Little Italy’s newest piazza in the neighborhood.
“Trick-or-Treat on India Street gives little ones who live in Downtown an opportunity to experience an authentic trick-or-treat experience and go door-to-door to fill up their bags with candies and treats,” said Little Italy Association’s district manager, Chris Gomez. “This annual event has been a beloved Halloween tradition in the neighborhood for nearly 12 years and it will be even more exciting this year in the new Piazza della Famiglia!”
To begin the evening, the Little Italy Association of San Diego will hand out candy to little trick-or-treaters at the Piazza della Famiglia. Attendees can pick up a map of participating businesses at the Piazza della Famiglia, located on India and West Date Streets, to find out which businesses will be passing out treats and candy at the fun-filled Halloween event. Families are then invited to take their map and head to participating businesses to begin their trick-or-treating experience.
