Rancho Santa Fe CA— For the first time ever, “Holli”day…Anyday! is hosting and inviting San Diegans and their favorite doggie friends to support Breast Cancer Angels (BCA) for an unforgettable outdoor soiree at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. On Thursday, Oct. 18, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, animal lovers will come together to support BCA, a nonprofit which provides direct financial support and emotional assistance to breast cancer patients undergoing treatments in San Diego, Orange County, and the South Bay.
As guests and their pups stroll the walkway leading up to the Inn’s expansive front lawns, pet parents will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a no host bar debuting an “Angel-Tini” featuring Tito’s Vodka, live music by Sonia Miro, specialty vendors, 50/50 raffle and silent auction, and K-9 demo by award-winning dog trainer and world competitor David Greene of Performance K9 Training.
The first 50 attendees of Paws 4a Cause will receive complimentary monogrammed champagne flutes.
“The purpose of this fun-filled afternoon is to raise awareness and monies for Breast Cancer Angels in the San Diego area,” said Holli Lienau, co-founder of “Holli”day…Anyday! and BCA Board President. “We really couldn’t think of a more gorgeous venue than the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe since they are a focal part of the community that generously donated the venue and appetizers – and their front lawn is the perfect spot to enjoy the day with our furry friends.”
The Inn at Rancho Santa will donate $1 for every “Angel-Tini” sold to BCA, and Tito’s Vodka is raising the ante by matching that donation up to $1,000.
“We’re grateful to be part of this fundraiser to benefit breast cancer patients and their families,” said General Manager of the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe Jerome Strack.
According to Lienau, Breast Cancer Angels assists more than 600 breast cancer patients and their family members. The money raised goes directly to women in need.
Specialty vendors will also donate a percentage of their sale proceeds to BCA. Guests and their pets will delight in a shopping experience with J McLaughlin, Combar, Giusta, Foxy Treats for pets, and North County PEMS.
Co-founder of “Holli”day…Anyday! Janet Lawless Christ said at the very heart of the festivities, is all about helping San Diegans in need.
“This will be such a joyous event where two-footed and four-footed kindred spirits of all ages, shapes and sizes can gather to support an ever-so-worthy cause,” Lawless Christ said.

Breast Cancer Angels is a local non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that financially assists individuals during treatment for breast cancer. Some of the assistance we provide are food gift cards, gas gift, we offer rental assist, utility assistance and help with medical co-pays. We have also paid for hospice and final expenses. Many of these individuals have children so we assist with school supplies and clothing. Every need is considered.
