Carlsbad CA— The Origami Crane Ornaments are ready for flight… Now through December 21 or until they have all flown the nest. Origami cranes are the universal symbol of love, hope, peace and joy.
Every ornament purchased for $5 goes 100 % to benefit of the children at WRC. Last year’s sale contributed to the refurbishing of the children’s playground with a new tire structure, car and more. Last year raised $1500. Help double that amount this year.
For the past 12 years, Friends of WRC have raised funds to provide a portion of the budget for children counseling. They have sponsored Christmas gifts for teens and filled Santa’s workshop for the children to pick a gift for their parent. Friends has refurbished the indoor playroom, supplied Valentines Day cards and sponsored visits to the Wave Water Park. These arte just a few of what Friends of WRC have accomplished through the years.
