Carlsbad CA— The City of Carlsbad’s Mindful Living Workshops continue through April 2019. Admission is free. Seating is first come, first served.

Mindful Reflective Leadership

Saturday, Dec. 8, 9 – 10:30 a.m.
Carlsbad City Library Schulman Auditorium, 1775 Dove Lane
Whether you are a leader of a large group or leading your own life, using full presence and reflection can improve your leadership skills. Watch a short film and participate in an activity that helps you uncover how you can be more present in your role as a leader.

Mindful Stress Navigation: Parenting

Learn how being fully present for both the joys and challenges of parenting can improve your health and relationship with your children.

Dr. Erik Conklin, M.A., Ed.D., is a Compassion Cultivation Facilitator and a graduate of the Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) teacher certification program at the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University and the UCLA Training in Mindfulness Facilitation Program. His research was awarded a David and Lucile Packard Foundation Research Fellowship for Children, Families, and Communities for research excellence.
