San Marcos CA—What if you could participate in the biggest philanthropic holiday of the year while enjoying the most delicious foodie activity of the week? San Diego nonprofit Wounded Warrior Homes has created a new holiday-time tradition: Giving Taco Tuesday. The first annual Giving Taco Tuesday will take place on December 3, 2019 from 3pm to 9pm, at Dos Desperados Brewery.
Giving Tuesday started in 2012 as a way to remember to give back to those in need during the holiday season, immediately following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. Now, community members who are looking to give back to nonprofits on Giving Tuesday can do with a taco in hand. Tacos and churros are coming from Kennedy’s Meat Co, entertainment include Karaoke Stock Market where people can donate an “appraised” amount to sing notorious karaoke songs.
