San Diego CA—In honor of January being National Mentoring Month, Promises2Kids held its Mentor Appreciation Event at Balboa Park where foster youth and their mentors gathered together for a fun-filled afternoon exploring different monuments, taking fun photos, building new memories and enjoying a delicious lunch. Mentors were also thanked for supporting Guardian Scholars through their higher education. Each mentor volunteers their time and is truly making a difference.
