Online dating has become increasingly popular among single men and women searching for love. But unfortunately, this popularity has also piqued the interest of scam artists, and many times one’s quest for love may find fraud instead. During the seminar, Greenwood will cover current online romance scams and strategies to protect yourself and your loved ones. Complimentary parking and light refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited and reservations are required. To register, visit sdccu.com/seminar.
With more than 25 years of experience and having been involved in the prosecution of over 600 felony cases of elder and dependent adult abuse, Greenwood is a renowned, award-winning prosecutor. He was head of the Elder Abuse Prosecution Unit for more than 20 years and was also co-chair of the California District Attorney Elder Abuse Committee. He’s been featured on both CBS’s “Eye on America” and NBC’s “Nightly News.” Over his career, he has been acknowledged with numerous accolades, including the “Visionary for Change” Award, San Diego County Bar Public Service Attorney Award and the Professional Leadership Award by the Elder Financial Protection Network.
