North Coast Church to Collect Non-Perishable Food Items to Replenish Local Food Pantries
Vista CA— North Coast Church is hosting the We Can Service Food Drive to help local non-profit partners replenish their food pantries during the COVID-19 crisis. Non-profit partners include Interfaith Community Services, Ramona Food and Clothes Closet, Fallbrook Food Pantry, and Got Your Back San Diego.
At this one-day event, non-perishable food donations, as well as cash or check donations, will be taken at all North Coast Church locations including Vista, Carlsbad, Fallbrook, Pauma Valley, Ramona, Rancho Bernardo, and San Marcos/Escondido. The community is encouraged to drop off non-perishable food donations at any church location. For a location address visit www.northcoastchurch.com. Please note that Rancho Bernardo and Ramona drop off locations will be at their midweek offices.
The We Can Service Food Drive will practice social distancing to ensure the donation process is contact-free. Organizers are asking people to place food donations in a box or bag and place in their trunk. Upon arrival, pop the trunk and volunteers will remove the donations.

Because of the COVID-19 crisis, local food pantries are in greater need of non-perishable food items. The We Can Service Food Drive donations will help selected non-profit organizations feed local families in need and the homeless.
Most needed items are canned chicken and tuna, macaroni and cheese, rice, beans (dried or canned), hearty soups, stew, chili, pasta sauce, pasta, canned fruits or vegetables (corn or green beans), peanut butter, jelly or jam, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast items (family size), almond milk, mixed nuts (family size or individual size bags), dried fruits, crackers, cookies, and snack items (family size).
