Oceanside CA— Mother’s Day may be virtual this year, but there are still plenty of ways to pamper mom while supporting local businesses. In Oceanside, many restaurants, wine bars, retailers and even hotels are offering specials so that families can celebrate mom even while sheltering in place. Here are a few highlights from Visit Oceanside:

Restaurants

Petite Madeline Bakery by the Beach has all the essentials to surprise mom with breakfast in bed! The Full Breakfast Essential Kit includes house made Old Country Cinnamon Swirl bread (while supplies last), honey-cured bacon, natural Jones Sausage links, 18 large eggs, Jack-Cheddar shredded cheese, Feta cheese, four Pearl sugar waffles, two bags of Roar Coffee gourmet grounds and an assortment of Mighty Leaf Organic teas. The brunch package is $120 with options for adding additional quiches for $15 each. Customers will also receive 30 percent off additional bottles of wine. Oceanside’s Mellano Farms will be setting up a pop-up roadside stand at 5750 North River Road in Oceanside beginning Wednesday, May 6 with fresh flowers, fruits and succulents especially packaged for Mother’s Day.
