Proceeds from month-long cupcake collaboration to benefit students in Carlsbad Unified School District

Carlsbad CA— Gelson’s and two-time winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars Little Cakes Kitchen are teaming up for a month-long cupcake campaign to raise money for the Carlsbad Education Foundation. Geared towards supporting the success of Carlsbad’s students, 50% of the proceeds from sales of the Little Cakes floral cupcakes four-pack purchased at Gelson’s in Carlsbad will be gifted to the Carlsbad Education Foundation.
A family-owned bakery based out of Vista with an in-house bakery at Gelson’s in Carlsbad and Del Mar, Little Cakes Kitchen features eclectic cupcakes baked from scratch using the finest ingredients. Parents, teachers, students and area residents can stop by the Carlsbad Gelson’s, located at 7660 El Camino Real, from October 22 through November 22 to purchase four-packs of Little Cake’s Floral Cupcakes featuring two each of their award-winning chocolate and vanilla cupcakes topped with Italian vanilla buttercream frosting.
