Oceanside CA— February is National Snack Food Month and Popcorn Powder, a San Diego based company wants to be sure that everyone gets some healthy snacks.
Popcorn Powder has partnered with Oceanside’s all-natural market, Cream of the Crop, to host a 2 week long food drive for the San Diego Food Bank.
From February 1 through February 14, 2021, people can donate either in person at Cream of the Crop or online at popcornpowder.com. Unlike most food drives, this one will be focusing on healthy snacking and eating.
“With everything going on in the world, snacking has become a major coping mechanism,” said Marci Kawar, Founder and CEO of Popcorn Powder. “Everyone deserves to eat healthy. Our goal is to help provide families with healthy choices so that when they do need to turn to food for stress, it’s something healthy.”
For every barrel that gets filled and every $100.00 of online donations, Popcorn Powder will donate one of their seasonings. Popcorn Powder, has a line of all natural gourmet popcorn seasoning that come in Rosemary, Parmesan. Chipotle Cheddar and Cinnamon Bun.
Cream of the Crop is located 2009 S Coast Highway.
