Oceanside CA— The Oceanside Sea Lions will be sponsoring the 35th annual Bowl for the Blind, on Sat, Oct 16th at 1:00 pm at Surf Bowl in Oceanside. Net proceeds from the event go to the Vista Blind Center,
Paws 4 the Cause, and the Blind Stokers Club. There will be trophies for the winners, and a raffle as well. Meet the reigning Miss Oceanside queens and princesses.

The Oceanside Sea Lions are part of Lions International with over 1.4 million members worldwide with an emphasis on sight, diabetes, childhood cancer, hunger, and the environment.
The Oceanside Sea Lions have helped needy children in the Oceanside school district with eye exams and glasses. They also collect eyeglasses to recycle at various locations throughout Oceanside.
We are always looking for new members to help with our mission. General meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm. (locations vary)
