Encinitas CA— Bring your friends and family and enjoy downtown at Cyclovia Encinitas on Sunday, January 9, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. when South Coast Highway 101 will be closed to cars from D Street to J Street, allowing you to get out and explore downtown Encinitas by bike, on foot, or other means of self-powered transportation.
There will be plenty of great shops and dining to check out and activities, including a bicycle safety rodeo, bike skills course, fun and informational booths, music and more. Cyclovia Encinitas is a great opportunity to break out the bikes, boards, and scooters to experience downtown at a different pace.  Make a point to check out and support Encinitas’ downtown merchants too!
Wearing of masks is highly encouraged at this event.  Additionally, a Covid-19 Vaccination Walk-up Clinic will be hosted by AMR Ambulance.  Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and boosters will be available. Participants must bring their vaccination cards and photo ID to receive second doses of the vaccines or boosters.  The clinic will be located on Highway 101 (west side of street) near D St.
Cyclovia Encinitas is a partnership effort between the City of Encinitas, the City’s Environmental Commission and Mobility and Traffic Safety Commission along with other partners. The event promotes mobility and the City’s Climate Action Plan.
The event is supported by Cox Communications, Ting Internet, AMR Ambulance, San Diego County Bike Coalition, Bike-Walk Encinitas, Oh, goodie! – San Diego for Kids.
