Locals to dust off the “ole cowboy boots” to benefit organization on May 6

San Diego CA—  Grab a partner and do-si-do your heart out! Ride Above Disability Therapeutic Riding Center, a nonprofit organization providing equestrian activities to children and adults with special needs, invites the community to its Poway center for a night of line dancing and entertainment.
On Saturday, May 6, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., adults are invited to a dinner and barn dance to benefit the organization that continues to change its client’s lives through horsemanship and riding. The night will be filled with line dancing, a silent auction and dinner and drinks.

“RAD relies on volunteers and generous donors to continue to provide services to our riders, their families, and the community as a whole,” said Executive Director of RAD, Wayne Jackson. “Your generosity and participation will keep lesson costs low for our clients. Can’t wait to see everyone on May 6!”
Ride Above Disability Therapeutic Riding Center provides unique, tailored lessons to fit each rider’s needs and goals. Verbal communication, core strength, balance, coordination, and socialization are just some of the many benefits of therapeutic horseback riding.
