Join Carlsbad Republican Women Federated (CRWF) on Tuesday, August 22nd, to meet Carlsbad’s Police Chief, Neil Gallucci! Chief Gallucci will address “staying safe in Carlsbad” as well crime and current sanctuary city issues. As stated by Gallucci, “It is an honor to represent the city of Carlsbad as its police chief and to lead this dedicated and hardworking group of men and women. A safe and secure Carlsbad takes teamwork, and I am proud of the strong relationships we have built in all areas of our community.” CRWF is thrilled to host Carlsbad’s top law enforcement officer!
Gallucci is a law enforcement veteran with 30 years of experience. He began his career in law enforcement with the City of Long Beach in 1987. He joined the Carlsbad police force in 1990 and worked his way through the ranks, serving as a police captain for six years before being named interim police chief in August 2015. He was then appointed as police chief in March 2016. Gallucci has hands on experience in patrol, the K9 unit, and SWAT operations. He graduated college with a BA in Criminal Justice Management and is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the Sherman Block Leadership Institute, the Law Enforcement Command College, and holds a management certificate from the Commission of Police Officer Standards and Training.
Chief Gallucci and his wife Shannon have been married for 29 years and have three children.
Carlsbad Republican Women Federated general meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Green Dragon Tavern and Museum, 6115 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92011.
