Spring Planting Jubilee & Tomato Sale. It’s March planting madness at our Spring Planting Jubilee & Tomato Sale! This event is a plant lover’s dream with a wide variety of herbs, spring plants, bromeliads, garden art and implements, and (of course) tomatoes! Locally-sourced and grown summer garden herbs, tomatoes and vegetables will be offered by Dianne’s Herbs. Garden Tapestries from Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Center in Giza, Egypt. Back by popular demand are the garden-themed tapestries from the Rameses Wissa Wassef Art Center in Giza, Egypt! The Egyptian artists in this exhibit vividly celebrate the flowers of the desert, villages and Nile River in their work. These tapestries are available for purchase with most of the proceeds going to support the artists – many of whom work on these tapestries for up to 2 years! Sculpture in the Garden. This unique exhibition showcases more than 50 sculptures from 32 talented artists set against the beautiful backdrop of the San Diego Botanic Garden.
