Visit Oceanside’s Fourth Annual ‘Wedding March’ Celebration

A Series of Venue Open Houses and Wedding Planning Events

Oceanside CA— With wedding planning season in high gear, Oceanside is helping couples plan their happily ever after during the fourth annual ‘Wedding March’ celebration, held throughout the month of March. The celebration will showcase seven of the city’s wedding and event venues, featuring mock-event decoration displays, live entertainment, wedding dress fashion shows and opportunities to meet with local event vendors. This month-long celebration is perfect for anyone researching coastal venues for weddings, parties or other special events.
Attendees are also eligible to enter to win a $50 VISA gift card simply by attending one or more of the participating open houses. To enter, post a photo of yourself at a venue open house on your favorite social media channel, tag @visitoceanside and use hashtags #wedoside and #oceansideweddingmarch. Some restrictions may apply. “The month-long Wedding March celebration is an easy way to explore Oceanside’s premier wedding and event venues,” says Michelle Martini-Brown, Visit Oceanside’s wedding resource manager. “By concentrating the open houses within one month, couples can easily visit Oceanside’s amazing collection of wedding venues from private tropical gardens and beachfront locations to historical sites and country clubs. Participants also have the opportunity to talk to a number of local event vendors who can assist them in their planning process.”
Organized by Visit Oceanside’s wedding resource team, the 2018 Wedding March celebration will include seven Oceanside venues, each location offering a unique experience for the participant. All venues will have a representative on hand to answer questions about pricing and availability.

2018 Oceanside Wedding March participating venues include:

Heritage Park (March 4, 12-3 p.m.)

The charm of yesteryear is beautifully captured in this historic park, which serves as a dramatic and unique backdrop for special events and social gatherings of all kinds. The historic town square houses a large gazebo and is an ideal location for a wedding ceremony and reception.

Paradise Falls Wedding Estate (March 10, 12-4 p.m.)

This beautiful garden paradise has become a premier wedding site for outdoor garden ceremonies and receptions, featuring a tented pavilion for an indoor alternative. Through the gates, experience a cascading waterfall, overhead market lights, and picturesque gardens. Accommodates up to 350 guests with only one wedding per day.

Arrowood Golf Course (March 11, 1-4 p.m.)

Come celebrate your most special and joyous occasion at Arrowood! Located just off the CA-76, this championship golf course offers picturesque panoramic views, cool ocean breezes and an outdoor patio that can accommodate anything from a small intimate gathering to a large party. Whether a beautiful ceremony on the patio or in the middle of a lush fairway, there are plenty of options to make your special day a perfect one. Accommodates 200 guests.

El Camino Country Club (March 11, 2-5 p.m.)

A beautiful venue for both your wedding and reception. Outdoor ceremonies typically take place under the white gazebo with expansive golf course views. When combined with the Garden Room, the Main Dining Room accommodates up to 250 guests for receptions. Photo opportunities include an enormous lakeside weeping willow. El Camino Country Club is having their annual Wedding Show Weekend. Multiple vendors will be onsite to help you plan the perfect event.

Oceanside Museum of Art (March 18, 1-4 p.m.)

The Oceanside Museum of Art’s classic Irving Gill-designed building represents the flavor of Southern California in the 1930’s, and the stunning Central Pavilion completed in 2007, designed by Modernist architect Frederick Fisher, boasts spectacular views and includes two adjoining galleries. The first floor lobby featuring four sliding glass doors seamlessly connect your event to the Central Pavilion, Biogen- Idec Terrace, and arched Irving Gill memorial arcade. These elegant spaces together are ideal for dinner, dancing, and banquets. The second-floor Groves Gallery Auditorium offers a variety of options and is a unique setting for any event.
