Vista CA— Mr. Leonard Re, a nationally respected, award-winning African violet grower is the guest speaker at the Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 10:30 meeting of the San Diego County African Violet Society. Mr. Re will be demonstrating cutting back large violet plants with long necks and re-potting the plant. He will also entertain any and all questions relating to raising African violets..
Also at the May meeting, a Culture Class led by Barbara Conrad discussing and demonstrating raising violets on felt, acrylic blanket material and pebbles.
San Diego County African Violet Society meets at 10:30am in the Vista Public Library Community Room — 700 Eucalyptus Avenue.
