Republican Activist, Waskah Whelan Joins Mr. Dronenberg for May Meeting

Oceanside CA— Join the Republican Club of Ocean Hills (RCOH) on Wednesday, May 16th, to meet two key Republicans in San Diego. Keynote speaker, Ernie Dronenberg, was elected Assessor, Recorder, and County Clerk (ARCC) in 2010, re-elected in 2014, and will be on your June 5th Primary ballot! Mr. Dronenberg is also the chairman of the CA Assessor Association, Legislation Committee. Guest speaker, Waskah Whelan is the Precinct Operations Chair for the San Diego County Republican Party. Ms. Whelan is the Past President of the San Diego County Republican Women (SDCFRW) and currently serves as the 2nd VP Membership for SDCFRW.
Ernie Dronenberg will provide an “Assessor Update and Tax Tips for Wealth Building and Helping Our Veterans” Mr. Dronenberg is an expert in state and local tax administration. He has also served as a member of the IRS Commissioner’s Advisory Group and was appointed by the Speaker of the House to the Restructuring Commission. Mr. Dronenberg is a graduate of San Diego State University with a BS degree in Business Administration Finance/Accounting. He did post graduate work in Economics and in Real Estate. He holds a Board of Equalization certificate as a Certified Property Tax Appraiser. He resides on a 33-acre working flower farm in the hills of Fallbrook with his wife Marilyn.
Waskah Whelan will address two topics on May 16th: “Getting Out the Vote – Why it Works! and “What the Democrats Are Up To This Year and How to Stop Them!” Ms. Whelan graduated from SDSU with a M.A. degree in Education, and worked for the San Diego City Schools for over 30 years as a teacher in various elementary grades. She has been involved in every Presidential Campaign from 1980 to present, and has also been a Delegate to the California Republican Party Conventions representing SDGOP Chairman Tony Krvaric and Senator Joel Anderson. Waskah is married to Tom Whelan and has lived in Pt. Loma since 1978. She is very active in the preservation of historical homes and buildings in the area.
The Republican Club of Ocean Hills (RCOH) believes in Republican values: individual responsibility, personal freedoms, limited government, a market economy, low taxes, and a strong national defense. RCOH meets the third Wednesday of each month at the Broken Yolk Café, 2434 Vista Way, Oceanside CA. The Meet and Greet and lunch is from 12:00 noon until 12:45 p.m. Lunch is $15 per person and covers any food item on the menu, a non-alcoholic drink, and taxes and tip.
