San Diego CA— St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC) will hold its inaugural Our Secret Garden Party on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM at 2119 East Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. This event will give SMSC’s supporters and the San Diego community the chance to experience SMSC’s magical garden and new aquatics center.
Our Secret Garden Party will feature beer and wine tastings from local breweries and wineries; live music; catered food stations; Arts Alive Auction presented by Jasmine Creek Florists and SMSC Sophie’s Gallery; Wine Pull and silent auctions; boutique vendor booths; a special live appearance of “Faeries” designed by Deb Solan; and the sale of student-made art and plants from SMSC’s garden.
The Presenting Sponsor for Our Secret Garden Party is Sycuan Casino. Chris Hinman will serve as this year’s Honorary Chair and Monica Zech will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Proceeds from this event will benefit the garden and aquatics programs.
St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 400 adults with developmental disabilities through nationally recognized, innovative programs. Its mission is to educate and empower individuals with developmental disabilities to realize their full potential. Developmental disabilities include autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other cognitive disorders for which there are no cures.
