The annual event is an evening of live entertainment and art to benefit the ArtReach Free Workshop Program that brings free art lessons to thousands of students throughout San Diego County
San Diego County CA— ArtReach, a nonprofit aimed at increasing equity in visual arts education to K-6 schools throughout San Diego County, will host the 6th Annual Party ARTy on Sunday, October 7 in a private Encinitas home and garden. The annual event is an afternoon of creative inspiration and celebration of the ArtReach Access to Art program, which takes free, high quality visual art lessons to San Diego County elementary schools that do not have arts education as part of their school curriculum. ArtReach increases access to visual arts education by connecting students with practicing artists and providing free workshops at schools.
“We are excited to celebrate the 6th Annual Party ARTy with community members, family and friends,” said Sarah Holbach, executive director of ArtReach. “The special evening allows us to provide free art lessons to children from across San Diego County and beyond who do not have access to arts education, encouraging creative expression.”
Party ARTy features an afternoon filled with artists, curated inspiration, music, gourmet food and craft cocktails. The celebration of inspiration and creativity includes an epicurean treat with artisanal food prepared by Coast Catering, beer from Stone Brewing Co., wine, and craft libations from Old Harbor Distilling Co. This year, ArtReach will bring back its popular Wine Ring Toss where guests have a chance to win a bottle of fine wine. Throughout the gardens, local artisans will create art and share handmade techniques. Guests have the opportunity to create macramé, add to a collaborative printmaking piece, plant succulents and more. Local duo, SnackPack, will set the musical mood for the night.
This must-see event includes an auction with prizes such as art, vacation home stays, private dinners, jewelry, and behind-the-scenes tours.

Proceeds from the event make it possible for ArtReach to provide free workshops to students at schools that meet need criteria and would otherwise have no visual arts instruction. The San Diego nonprofit organization was founded in 2007 in response to the slashes in arts programming budgets in local schools throughout San Diego County. Thanks to the support of individuals, businesses, events and foundations, ArtReach has helped more than 26,000 children find the artist within. ArtReach brings teaching artists, art materials and standards-based lesson plans to each school campus it visits. In the 2017-2018 school year alone, the ArtReach team worked in 23 schools spanning San Diego County.
