Daily, NOW – April 2019, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership.  Sculpture in the Garden. This unique exhibition showcases 61 sculptures from 30 talented artists (mostly local!) set against the beautiful backdrop of the San Diego Botanic Garden. Saturday, October 6, 10 am – 3 pm. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership. Orchid Clinic. Four great education sessions, each presented by local expert orchid growers, will impart valuable, easy to use information on how to select, grow and care for orchids. Admission only $5 on Sunday, October 22 & Monday, October 23 (until 12 noon). Fall Plant Sale. Plant donations from over 100 local growers, wholesalers, retail nurseries and individuals make this one of the most interesting and diverse plant sales in San Diego County! Cactus and Succulent Show & Sale. The Palomar Cactus and Succulent Society bring cacti and succulents from all over the world for show and sale to San Diego Botanic Garden. Botanica: Flowers, Foliage & Botanically-Inspired Art Works from Oceanside Museum of Art Artist Alliance. Come enjoy the flowers, foliage and botanically-inspired art created by members of the Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) Artist Alliance. The Alliance is a group of OMA affiliated members which provides opportunities to grow and show their work together. REGISTER TODAY! THIS CLASS WILL SELL OUT! Learn the basics of planting a living wall in just 3 hours! Students will be planting a 10” x 20” wall of succulent varieties. Living walls can be used to adorn exterior or interior spaces. Use your imagination to come up with striking patterns and unique designs with a multitude of colors/textures/sizes of succulents. Sunday, October 28, 9 am – 1 pm. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. SDB Garden. Members: $50/Non-members: $60, plus a $20 materials fee paid directly to the instructor on the day of class. Paper Marbling. Learn how to prepare paper to be marbled. Acrylic paint floats on a prepared solution and raked into patterns to reveal a beautiful marbled design. Please bring an apron and wear old clothing, as this can get pretty messy (and fun)! Plus a $30 materials fee payable directly to the instructor the first day of class. Mosaic Graden Jewels. Create a beautiful mosaic using ocean rocks and glass beads in this 2-day class.
