Teen Class: Mixed Media & Pointillism
Dots and color!
Pointillism is a Post-Impressionist technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image employed by artists such as Georges Seurat, Paul Signac and Henri Matisse. Students will explore, mixed media, color theory and pointillist techniques in this class.
Taught by Artist Instructor Bruce Carrion.

FREE Teen Art Class @ Studio ACE

Pointillism – dots and color! This is a Post-Impressionist technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image. After practicing color theory with markers, you will then use paint, q-tips and brushes to create your own pointillist paintings. For grades 6-12. Sign up at the Library today. Classes are held at Studio ACE, next to the Mission Branch Library.
