Pala CA— Just like the tens of thousands of cars abandoned on the New York thruway 50 years ago, Pala Rez Radio 91.3, KPRI will abandon all regular programming this weekend so that we can play nothing but music from Woodstock for 72 straight hours. Beginning early today and continuing through Sunday night (August 16-18), Rez Radio will celebrate the golden anniversary of Woodstock with a historical reenactment including songs from every artist who performed 50 years ago this week in the fields of Yasgur’s Dairy Farm including the complete sets by Santana, Creedence Clearwater, Jimi Hendrix, and others. As always, all Rez Radio programming is non-commercial with no begging and pleading for donations. It’s a free concert, just like Woodstock. Enjoy three more days of Peace, Love & Music as Rez Radio travels back to the garden this weekend … back to a place where the original KPRI in San Diego was 50 years ago. Woodstock … +50.
Rez Radio streams live on iHeartRadio, TuneIn.com and Radio Garden. A link for the stream is available at our website, www.RezRadio.FM and our telephone listen line number is 712 775 5748. On smart speaker – “Alexa, play KPRI” “Hey Google, play KPRI”
Rez Radio 91.3 KPRI is owned and operated by the Pala Band of Mission Indians for the cultural, enterainment and emergency safety benefit of inland North County. Please direct any questions about Rez Radio and its programming to station manager, John Fox jfox@palatribe.com
