Jay Grant to enter new role with more than two decades of leadership experience with marketing management
Plans for the organization include building resources for certified exercise professionals and health coaches
San Diego CA— The American Council on Exercise (ACE) announces the promotion of Jay Grant to the role of Executive Vice President of Marketing. Grant, promoted from his role as Interim Vice President of Marketing, has more than two decades of leadership experience, including extensive marketing management for GreatCall, which was acquired by Best Buy, and CBS Interactive.

As the Executive Vice President of Marketing, Grant will oversee and drive ACE’s marketing of certification and education products. He will be responsible for the global oversight of marketing strategy development, planning and management of the marketing function, market research, competitive analysis and sales support.

Prior to joining ACE, Grant led marketing and business development for multiple consulting firms, where his integrated marketing planning, execution and measurement resulted in new engagement records and multi-year sales growth. Grant completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
