Carlsbad CA— At the February 25th luncheon meeting, the Carlsbad Republican Women Federated club is pleased to welcome Sue Blair, President of the California Federation of Republican Women. CFRW is a grassroots statewide political organization with more than 10,000 members and 140 local clubs. CFRW supports the policies and objectives of the Republican National Committee and is sometimes referred to as the education arm of the Republican Party. Members at the local, state and national level work to elect Republican candidates and advocate the Party’s philosophy and initiatives.
At the February meeting, Sue Blair will present, “CFRW – The Future Begins NOW!” With a recent restructuring of CFRW into 9 regions, this reorganization will allow CFRW to continue to provide guidance and assistance to member clubs with direct communication to/from regional leadership. Regional Directors will be available to assist current and future members in activities that promote Republican principles and values and increase the active membership of the organization.
Sue Blair assumed leadership of CFRW in January 2020 and brings superb leadership abilities and experience to the organization. She served as the President of the Long Beach RWF club, as Ways and Means Chair on the CFRW Board, and as CFRW Vice President-Southern Division, as well as on other CFRW executive committees.
