Meet New People. Learn New Skills

San Diego County CA—The Elizabeth Hospice invites individuals interested in helping adults and children impacted by serious illness and those grieving the death of a loved one to a free volunteer orientation session via the Zoom videoconferencing platform. Attendees will learn about a wide variety of opportunities that are available throughout San Diego County and Southwest Riverside County, including: serving as a patient companion, providing caregiver respite, performing aromatherapy, sewing Cuddle Bears, officiating at veteran pinning ceremonies, and much more. Information will be provided on both the application and training process.
An email address and a device with a camera interface is needed to participate in the training session. Prospective volunteers can choose from the following dates:

• Thursday, May 21 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Tuesday, June 2 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
• Wednesday, June 17 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
• Thursday, July 2 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
• Monday, July 13 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am
