Encinitas CA— San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas is pleased to announce that it will be open on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7th from 10 am – 5 pm.
Visitors and SDBG members are encouraged to take advantage of experiencing the tranquil beauty of this 37-acre urban oasis during the forthcoming holiday weekend by making online reservations at SDBGarden.org TODAY!
Please note that when making reservations, all visitors are registering for their arrival time at the Garden – that is available during ½ hour increments. Once visitors are at the Garden, they are welcome to stay as long as they would like, while maintaining proper social distancing and face covering guidelines.
Per the San Diego County Department of Health, everyone age 2+ should have face coverings with them at all times at the Garden and MUST put them on when within 6 feet of individuals not in their immediate family.
San Diego Botanic Garden is fortunate to have remained open since June 1st for visitors and members to enjoy its 29 uniquely themed gardens.
The Garden’s main entrance has temporarily moved to the Dickinson Family Education Conservatory at 300 Quail Gardens Drive, at the corner of Ecke Ranch Road and Quail Gardens Drive. Parking is available at the Conservatory and additional parking is available at the San Dieguito Heritage Ranch across the street from the Conseratory.
Currently, Hamilton Children’s Garden and Seeds of Wonder children’s gardens remain closed until local and state authorities deem it safe for children’s areas to reopen.
Regular Garden hours are Wednesday – Sunday from 10 am – 5 pm.
