San Diego CA— Episcopal Community Services (ECS) will hold its first annual Making Miracles Hybrid Gala Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Coasterra on San Diego Bay, 80 Harbor Island Dr., San Diego, CA 92101. Attire for this event is Old Hollywood Glamour, and themed attire is encouraged. Co-chairs for the evening are Marie Tuthill, Kathy Fremdling, and Leta Keyes.
The event, sponsored by Marsh and McClennan, The Episcopal Diocese of San Diego, The Huck Family, The Society of St. Paul, Hecht Solbert, and Winfield Development benefits ECS programs that address mental health, child development, substance use disorders, and homelessness in San Diego. Guests will enjoy the opportunity to attend the event or participate virtually via livestreaming on YouTube (livestreaming time to be announced). Whichever format guests choose, ECS invites them to immerse themselves in the mission and vision of ECS — ever-growing, ever-changing lives through programs that inspire children, empower adults, and transform our community.
“After having to take our gala virtual last year, we are thrilled to be able to come together both in person and virtually this year to celebrate the impact of ECS in our community,” said the Making Miracles Co-chairs, Marie Tuthill, Kathy Fremdling, and Leta Keyes. They added, “While it looks a little different this year, we remain committed to supporting all people to reach their full potential.”
Tickets for in-person seating are $250 per person. There is no cost for virtual participation only, however, guests have the option to have a gourmet dinner, provided by Coasterra and paired with wine, delivered to them the day of the event for $125 per person. The event will also feature an online auction, entertainment by The Lamb’s Players Theater, giveaways, and a heartfelt program with more surprises to be announced at a later date.
