Carlsbad CA— Join the Carlsbad Republican Women Federated club (CRWF) on Tuesday, August 24th, as we welcome Republican candidates running to replace Governor Gavin Newsom in the September 14th special election! While numerous candidates have been invited and may still attend, the following individuals have committed to the event:
- John Cox – Businessman and entrepreneur
- Steve Chavez Lodge – Principal at the public affairs firm Chamus & Associates
- Joseph Luciano – Political talk show producer, “The Daily Ledger” on OAN News
- Anthony Trimino – Entrepreneur, CEO of a privately held company
Political commentator and candidate for the 76th CA Assembly District, CRWF member Melanie Burkholder, will moderate the forum. Candidates will have an opportunity to present their platforms, followed by questions from the audience. Plan to attend this forum to be better informed in your selection of the best candidate on the September 14th ballot.
CRWF has actively volunteered in the Recall of Governor Gavin Newsom, while also supporting local political campaigns. Members regularly participate in many election activities, including voter education, voter registration, get-out-the-vote efforts, and candidate selection and support.
CRWF’s August 24th luncheon will be held at the Holiday Inn, 2725 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and the program begins at 11:00 a.m. Cost is $32 per person.
