San Clemente CA—This Tuesday, October 26 at 6am locals can wake their families early to experience the arrival of the tallest tree in Orange County. A massive crane will be there to lift the tree from its truck after the 670+ mile journey to Outlets at San Clemente. Stop by and sip complimentary hot chocolate, and watch the 100ft tall tree get hoisted from the truck to its home for the 2021 holiday season. After the tree is in position in the middle of Center Court, guests can see Santa, enjoy coffee and breakfast items, and see the early stages of the tree’s setup.
To make the long journey from Mt. Shasta to San Clemente safely, many of the tree’s branches are removed and reinstalled over a two-week period. Over 1,000 branches are added, more than 18,000 multicolored lights are strung, and over 10,000 bows are placed by hand. The tree will be ready to light up the skyline during Outlets at San Clemente’s Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 20th.
The Spanish-style village, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, houses a collection of over 60 brands with discounted prices featuring an assortment of local and well-known stores as well as a variety of fast-casual and sit-down restaurants.
