County Seeks Community Input on Mental Health Services

County+Seeks+Community+Input+on+Mental+Health+Services

San Diego County CA— The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency is seeking input from the public and professionals about the types of mental health programs that are needed in our communities.
Regional forums will take place throughout the County in December to gather input from people living with mental illness, their families and mental health services providers. Registration is not required.
The information gathered will help HHSA determine how to spend funding from the State’s Mental Health Services Act, which was approved by California voters in 2004. The Act imposes a one percent tax on personal income above $1 million for the creation of new mental health programs statewide.
