Forums to assess San Diego County behavioral health needs and services

San Diego County CA— In collaboration with the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health Services (BHS), the Institute for Public Heath (IPH) at SDSU will hold nine community forums across San Diego County to assess the behavioral health needs of area residents.
Participants will be asked to identify the most pressing needs in the community and to brainstorm ideas for how to address these needs. The forums will focus specifically on: (1) school violence and threats; (2) services for people experiencing a mental health crisis; and (3) drug and alcohol use among teens and young adults.
All members of the San Diego community are invited and encouraged to attend any one of the scheduled forums. Those who cannot attend may complete an online survey to offer their feedback. For more information, registration, and a link to the survey, please visit: ListenToSanDiego.org.
Refreshments will be provided to all attendees, and community members will be eligible to receive a $5 gift card. For questions, please call 619-594-4409.
