Oceanside CA— MiraCosta College is offering a tuition-free noncredit Cisco program to prepare students for computer industry certification and help build skills and in-depth knowledge.
The program prepares students for the following certifications:
- Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT)
- Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA)
- Recertification
- Security+ and CCNA Security
Graduates find work as network support technicians, field engineers, network analysts, system engineers, network administrators and more.

MiraCosta College Offering Noncredit Computer Classes
MiraCosta College is offering tuition-free noncredit computer courses this spring:
Essential Computer Skills (NCWFP11): MTW, 1:15–3:25 p.m., 1/20 – 3/11/2015
The course is designed to assist students in improving their computer skills for the workplace or re-entering school. The NCWFP11 course will cover Windows 7, Word, Internet usage and web searching, email, and course management systems (Blackboard) used in college classes. Students should have basic computer usage skills (saving files, mouse and keyboard) prior to enrolling.
Free Computer Classes—On Saturdays.
MiraCosta College Community Learning Center also is offering free computer classes on Saturdays beginning the week of January 20. Classes meet for 8 weeks. The courses are designed to assist students in learning to use the Internet, PCs and Microsoft Office products for personal, business and school purposes. Courses offered include Computer Basics, Basic Word Processing, Beginning Spreadsheets (Excel) and PowerPoint.
