Carlsbad CA— MiraCosta College’s Community Education Program is offering the following noncredit courses this spring:
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Hydraulic systems use a liquid such as oil or water, while pneumatic systems use gas, such as air or nitrogen. This hands-on course introduces fluid power as an effective means of transferring, controlling and converting energy., its advantages, disadvantages, and modern usage within advanced manufacturing. Learn how to operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment and systems safely and efficiently. The class dates have not yet been determined, but will be held at the Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad. Fee is $150.
Soldering: MiraCosta will offer multiple levels of soldering, from an introductory basics class to upper levels that offer IPC certification. The class dates have not yet been determined, but will be held at the Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad.
