Oceanside CA— The MiraCosta College Black Student Union (BSU) will host the 6th Annual United Black Student Conference, to be held February 26 at the college’s Oceanside Campus, located, 1 Barnard Drive. Sign-in is at 8 a.m. and the program begins at 8:30 a.m. in the college Concert Hall, Bldg. 2400.
The conference will include dynamic speakers, educational workshops, and entertainment.
Keynote speakers will be Paxton Baker, executive vice president and general manager of Centric, a BET and MTV network targeting African-American and multicultural adults; and Summer Fuller of My Brother’s Keeper Project.
Afternoon entertainment will feature John Givez, The Lyrical Groove and MiraCosta College’s Performance Writers Club.
