Carlsbad CA— Each summer, MiraCosta College offers its College for Kids & Youth Academy program for area kids to experience college and take fun classes that will encourage a love for learning. As a sneak peek of what will be available this summer, MiraCosta is offering three of its most popular College for Kids courses during spring break. Courses offered this spring are:

• Hogwarts School of Wizardry (ages 10–13), 3/28–4/1, 9 a.m.–noon, at MiraCosta College’s Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad. Fee: $125.
• Grossology (ages 6–9): 3/28–4/1, 9 a.m.–noon, at the Technology Career Institute. Fee: $100.
• U Be The Chemist! (ages 11–14): 4/4–4/8, 9 a.m.–noon, at the Technology Career Institute. Fee: $110.
