You can even earn additional income by starting your own notary business. MiraCosta College’s Community Education Program is offering workshops designed to help you become a notary public or renew your existing certification. The college also offers notary testing.

• “Become a Notary Public the Smart Way—In One Day!” is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Room 3507 at the Oceanside Campus, at 1 Barnard Drive. The fee for the class is $99.

• Renewing Notaries can take the three-hour state required seminar, also scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 12:45-6 p.m., Room 3507 at the Oceanside Campus. The fee for the class is $50.

• Notary Testing is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 3:45-6 p.m., Room 3507 at the Oceanside Campus. The fee for the test is $25.
