Oceanside CA— MiraCosta College is offering the following workforce training program:

Welding

This course is designed to train students to be able to qualify for an American Welding Society certification. The course will explore:
Basic welding processes

• OFC/OFW (oxyfuel cutting/oxyfuel welding)
• SMAW (shielded metal arc welding)
• GMAW (gas metal arc welding)
• FCAW (flux core arc welding)
• GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)

Note: Students will need to purchase steel-toed shoes with no laces and a welding jacket.
Fee: $750 introductary rate!
Location: Landes Recreation Center
Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5/10-7/28, 5-9 PM
