Digital Precision Measuring Using a Portable CMM
This is an introduction to metrology using portable CMM and Verisurf CAD software, for individuals working within the advanced manufacturing environment. Fee: $199. Location: Technology Career Institute. Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9/20–10/20, 3–5:30 p.m.
Introduction to CNC Programming Using MasterCam Mill
In this 30-hour introductory course, students learn how to design basic CNC programs for a three-axis CNC milling machine. Fee: $150. Location: Technology Career Institute. Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9/20–10/20, 6–9 p.m.
NEW Personal Defense and Self-Defense Laws
Develop the skills necessary to gain confidence and be effective against a variety of different threats. Each session will provide opportunities to both discuss and enact common scenarios. Fee: $99. Location: Technology Career Institute. Time: Tuesdays, 9/27–10/25, 5–9 p.m.

Lean Manufacturing I

Intermediate SolidWorks®
This 30-hour intermediate SolidWorks class is geared toward designing for prototyping. Fee: $150. Location: Technology Career Institute. Time: Mondays & Wednesdays, 10/17–11/16, 6–9 p.m.
