Oceanside CA— MiraCosta College’s Community Education and Workforce Development Program is offering the following not-for-credit community workshop courses this fall:
Leadership Academy
An introductory course for supervisors—become effective leaders. Fee: $60/class or $200 for all four sessions. Location: Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad. Thurs, 9/22–10/13, 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Club Line Dancing: Basics
This is a fun line-dance class with country, pop and R&B music. Students will learn basic line dance steps and dances done at local line dance clubs. Fee: $69. Location: Carmel Valley Middle School, Room 240, 3800 Mykonos Lane, San Diego. Time: Mon, 10/31–12/5, 6:30–7:30 p.m. (Fee: $60).
The Art of Raw Food Cuisine: Main Entrees
In this hands-on class, you will make entrees such as pastas, wraps, and rolls, as well as side dishes. Fee: $49. Location: Torrey Pines High School, HE1, 3710 Del Mar Heights Rd, San Diego. Time: Tues, 9/20, 6:30–9 p.m.
