Oceanside CA— The English Language Institute (ELI) offers international students the opportunity to increase their English language proficiency and develop the skills needed to succeed at a college or university in the United States. This eight-week, intensive English-as-a-second-language program provides individualized instruction with small class sizes. The program is designed for students with a minimum of one year of English language training at high school or college level. This class may not be appropriate for advanced ESL students or students with a TOEFL score greater than 500 paper-based or 46 IBT. Students must be at least 18 years old or meet our minor policy requirements. Our International Student Office will issue I-20s. We accept students with an F1 or B visitor visa or any visa where “enrichment” or “study” is permissible.
MiraCosta College is now accepting applications for the spring 2018 sessions. Program dates are January 22–March 16 and March 26–May 18.
Fee: $1,895 (instruction, application fee, books, and student services). Health insurance is an optional fee of $350. Students must purchase our insurance plan or purchase their own insurance plan that meets our requirements. Fees subject to change. Location: 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside, Room OCT510.
