Oceanside CA— National School Choice Week will be hosting its California celebration at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA and Scholarship Prep Oceanside will be sending a group of our Scholars to perform ‘The Nutcracker: All Mixed Up’ under the direction of Ms. Valerie Hobbs. In an important show of solidarity with the School Choice movement, Scholarship Prep Oceanside is proud to take part in this event and represent San Diego County.
Valerie Hobbs attended East Carolina University where she received a BFA in Dance and Musical Theatre with a concentration in jazz and modern dance. She has spent the last 20 plus years teaching master classes and competition dance at various studios all over the country. Her hard work and dedication to the families and Scholars at Scholarship Prep Oceanside have created an abundance of energy around the Performing Arts Department.
The event will take place Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Queen Mary located 1126 Queens Highway, Long Beach, CA 90802-6390.
